Medill DC: The only client that would use my health care package was my blog

During the last quarter in Washington DC, my work found its way into the likes of Daily Caller, UPI, MarketWatch, and Military Times. (All previously posted links. Yes, I'm a link whore.) Near the end, I also put together a very broad health care package. The thing about our clients, though, is that they are used to and prepared for more compact pieces that fit in neatly with the rest of their coverage. Something comprehensive like this proves tougher to fit into their news-holes. I totally understand; it makes perfect sense.

But since I worked pretty hard on it, and since I have an "in" at DullHatchet (it's all about who you know): Here is the overview linking it all together (with slideshow!). Here is a story about how we won't have enough doctors. Here is a story about how nurses will play expanding roles in health care in the future. And here is a story about new care-delivery models that, regardless of health care reform, have already started to attempt to address surging costs. Enjoy.
